IF you wish to keep the Boston office open and eliminate the problems and delays that will be created by eliminating these offices I suggest that you contact Commissioner Bonner's at 202-927-2001 office and let him know that you object to those closings.
The reasons for keeping the office open have been voiced, the main ones are; Additional costs to Customs, with extra training, travel, Loss of revenue to the U.S. by not being able to audit claims, Delays in drawback processing due to addition back-logs, Overall Customs efficiency will be decreased No actual Customs savings; just added expenses with new administrations, travel, backlogs etc..
