One of our clients sends a majority of their exports to Canada. We want to claim drawback on those, so we'll be filing as Direct ID and we'll use the FIFO accounting method.
As you know, we have to account for every import and export (including shipments to US destinations), and utilize them when filing a claim.
Our software version is DB-99 LITE. When I run a claim, the Chronological Summary lists every foreign and domestic shipment used in the calculation of the claim. Miami Customs tells me that this is unacceptable. They said that shipments to US destinations are not "exports", therefore they do not belong on the Chronological Summary.
My question: Using our present software, how can we produce a Chronological Summary that calculates all imports and exports, yet only prints out the foreign exports?
I'm sure that upgrading to your DB-2000 SUPER would eliminate this problem, but that is not an option at this time.
